How should I prepare for my laser tattoo removal treatment?
First, protect the area from the sun for several weeks before treatment. It is better if the skin is not tan. Shave the area the day before treatment. We will apply topical anesthesia 30-60 minutes before the procedure. Please do not take aspirin, motrin, advil or other blood thinners, unless told to do so by your physician for medical reasons.

Do I need to do anything after the laser tattoo removal treatment?
Following your treatment, apply an ice pack to the treated area to reduce pain and inflammation; elevate the area, if it is an arm or leg; rest the area and do not play sports, swim, tan, or use a sauna or steam room; and apply any topical cream or ointment recommended. After first 24 hours, continue to apply the topical treatment provided. DO NOT pick at scabs or blisters. Protect the treated area from the sun and do not use tanning beds. After 24 hours you may resume normal activities, except for swimming, for which you should await complete healing.

Can I go in the sun after laser tattoo removal treatment?
You should protect your treated area from the sun until it is fully healed.
