Volbella

What is Volbella filler?

Volbella is a hyaluronic acid fillers in the Juvederm line of facial fillers from Allergan. It is more fluid than other Juvederm fillers, such as Juvederm Voluma, Juvederm Ultra Plus, and Juvederm Ultra. Volbella is intended for injection into the lips and the area surrounding the lips. Off-label, Volbella is also useful for the tear trough and around the eyes and for fine lines and wrinkles. Volbella is the perfect filler for subtle lip augmentation and a natural look and feel.

How is Volbella injected?

Volbella filler is injected in a way similar to other fillers. It can be injected with a series of individual injections, or using a cannula. Topical numbing or icing may be applied prior to the procedure. Volbella can be combined with other fillers, such as Juvederm Voluma, Juvederm Ultra Plus, Juvederm Ultra, and Juvederm Vollure for optimal cosmetic improvement. Your dermatologist will work with you to create a plan for Volbella filler injection.

Can Volbella be dissolved?

Like other hyaluronic acid fillers, Volbella can be dissolved if necessary using the enzyme hyaluronidase.
