Is there a package discount for laser tattoo removal?

However, you can also purchase one treatment at a time. A flat rate unlimited number of treatments option is now available. Ask for a quotation at your consultation.
Do I need to remove the entire tattoo?
No. You can remove just part of a tattoo, such as a name in the middle of a heart.
Can I remove a tattoo inside my mouth?
Can all tattoo colors be removed?
Most tattoo colors, but not all, can be removed. White, pinks, purples, and some yellows can be resistant.
Will laser tattoo removal leave a scar?
Most patients will not scar following treatment, but scarring sometimes occurs. This is especially true if you are prone to keloids. Compliance with your aftercare regimen is very important in reducing the risk of scar formation.
Is laser tattoo removal painful?
There is usually some discomfort associated with the laser tattoo removal procedure. This can be reduced with the use of a topical anesthetic and icepacks.
How should I prepare for my laser tattoo removal treatment?
First, protect the area from the sun for several weeks before treatment. It is better if the skin is not tan. Shave the area the day before treatment. We will apply topical anesthesia 30-60 minutes before the procedure. Please do not take aspirin, motrin, advil or other blood thinners, unless told to do so by your physician for medical reasons.
Do I need to do anything after the laser tattoo removal treatment?
Following your treatment, apply an ice pack to the treated area to reduce pain and inflammation; elevate the area, if it is an arm or leg; rest the area and do not play sports, swim, tan, or use a sauna or steam room; and apply any topical cream or ointment recommended. After first 24 hours, continue to apply the topical treatment provided. DO NOT pick at scabs or blisters. Protect the treated area from the sun and do not use tanning beds. After 24 hours you may resume normal activities, except for swimming, for which you should await complete healing.
Can I go in the sun after laser tattoo removal treatment?
You should protect your treated area from the sun until it is fully healed.

What is the R20 method of laser tattoo removal?
In the R20 method, on the first treatment the tattoo is treated four times separated by 20 minute intervals. In recent studies this approach was found to be more effective than a single treatment. Based on the type of tattoo, colors, and other parameters we will sometimes select this method. When we perform the R20 method, each treatment counts as a separate session of your treatment package. Follow-up for the R20 protocol is at 3 months. There is likely to be a little more epidermal injury, such as scabbing or blistering, but increased scarring has not been reported.
