What is Jeuveau?

Jeuveau is a new neurotoxin (sometimes called NewTox) similar to Botox. Like Botox, Jeaveau is used to treat and prevent wrinkle formation. It is approved for treatment of glabellar lines: the lines you get when you furrow your eyebrows. In the Jeaveau clinical studies, Jeauveau was injected an average of three times over the course of a year. This is similar to the way Botox is used today in most patients.

Is Jeaveau different from Botox?

Jeaveau is not identical to Botox, but it is a very similar medication used in the same way. If you are used to using Botox, Jeaveau can be used in a similar way.

How is Jeaveau injected?

Jeaveau is injected in a way similar to Botox, using a fine needle. It is injected in several points in the treated area, as determiend by your dermatologist.

Can Jeaveau be used in other areas?

Jeaveau is currently FDA-approved for treating glabellar lines, but like Botox and fillers, it can be used off-label by your doctor in other areas. Generally, any place where you would use Botox, you can use Jeaveau.
